The rocket kits are produced to
our own designs, and have been proven over hundreds of launches.
We produce a range of kits to
challenge all age groups. They are supplied (1 kit to 2 students) in a
sealed pack complete with instructions, you can see an example of the
instructions by clicking below:

The
kits can be tailored to provide a greater or lesser challenge to accommodate
workshops of different durations.
The rocket motors themselves are
commercially sourced and carry the CE marking. Firing is undertaken
remotely, from a safe distance using a specially designed firing box requiring a
safety key to arm it. The box has 2 FIRE buttons that have to be pressed
at the same time by the 2 rocket builders to launch the rocket.
If all goes wrong during the
build, we have an additional design that takes just 15 minutes so that no-one is
disappointed. |
